I've always wanted to see this done. I can only hope that the Economist will draw enough people for it to actually be representative (however unlikely that actually is seeing how their reading population is so far overwhelmingly biased) but still it's a start.
It's not that I believe other countries should actually have political power in choosing our leader, but it's nice to know what they think before the guy gets in office and the inevitably end up hating him. Here at least we can point to their numbers and say, "Hey, you really seemed supportive back in November of 08, so what now?"
